| Subject: | Re: Identifying the Fuel Line |
| Question: |
Hello, I have been searching the web for an answer but couldn't find any. All I wish to know is how to identify the fuel line for any car. There has to be something in common for every fuel line, right? I hope you can help me, as I didn't see any category for engines, I randomly picked a car. :) Thank you! Regards, |
| Answer: | Sandi, The typical fuel line is usually a narrow, aluminum piping. Sometimes, the easiest way to identify the lines is to find the fuel filter on your car. The fuel filter on many cars looks like a metal canister, and is located on the firewall of your engine bay. Some cars have their fuel filter located underneath the car. It all depends on the make and model of the car. Some owners manuals for certain cars will show you where your fuel filter is located. That can help locate the fuel lines. Good luck! |
