| Question: |
I have a Mitsubishi Shogun 3 Ltr V6 K Reg 1993 and there is smoke coming from the engine when the engine is warm. I have been advised that it is a seal gone on the engine or is it the Rocker Gasket, not sure ? Would this be a long job and would it be expensive to do or could I do the job myself ? Please help me! Thanks You Very Much |
| Answer: | Ben, The rocker cover gasket typically is not difficult to install, but you may need remove several components in order to remove the cover. I'd recommend that if you want to attempt performing this replacement yourself, that you get a service manual. This will walk you through step by step in the procedure. For other internal engine seals, you'd best have a mechanic do the job. It's not the seals that are expensive, it's the labor and time involved. Good luck! |
