| Question: | 2000 mitsubishi montero sport how to adjust the torsion bars |
| Answer: | Jack, You can do this job yourself, but you should be aware of a few things before you decide to adjust your torsion bars. Do this at your own risk. Adjusting your torsion bars to raise your vehicle will give you a stiffer ride. You will put more strain on your suspension, and will contribute to premature wear on your entire front suspention system. Also, you tire wire can be compromised as well. You WILL need a front-end alignment if you perform this job. Depending on how high (or low) you set your torsion bars, you may not be able to get a precise alignment. With all that out of the way, it is fairly easy to adjust
your torsion bars. It would take way too long to explain
it in my response, but I can give you a good reference web
