When I drive the the Montero starts stalling and then come to a complete stop it shuts down; I change the gas filter and it still does it when it warms up it shuts sometimes and won't start until the next day it starts again. |
| Answer: | Israel, This sounds like it may be an engine temperature sensor, a bad idle air controller, clogged fuel injector, malfunctioning emission component, or an ignition problem. You should also have your car's computer inspected. Read this article for further information: http://www.90gsx.com/eclipse/cap/caps.htm If any of the items I've mentioned above are faulty, it can cause your
stalling problem. Have a mechanic inspect those areas and hopefully they
will find the cause. |
