| Subject: | spark plug non-fire |
| Question: | Hi Anthony, I just put new plugs ,rotor, cap,& wires on my; 88 mitsubishi , mighty max pick-up w/ 2.0 , and I pull off the #2 plug wire and no change at all , in engine idle. What do you think ? Thank you , sal |
| Answer: | Sal, You should check the compression on each cylinder to make sure it is within spec. Zero compression in the #2 cylinder may indicate broken rod, warped piston head, or stuck valve(s). Test the compression and verify it's within spec before replacing anything else. Good luck! |
