do I need a sealant when I install the water pump? If so, what kind
of sealant? |
| Answer: | Gary, For most water pumps, any high-temp silicone sealant is needed. If the water pump you get comes with a rubber gasket (which is not typical), then you do not need any sealant. But most water pumps comes with a paper/cork gasket, and a silicone sealant will work. Good luck! |
