on ignition, as follows.... Maint., oil,and seat belt light flashes on and off also, at 55mph the engine loses power. My guess is for that is, it might be the plug wires. please respond to this theory. |
| Answer: | Ken, I can only give you general info since you didn't provide me with a year, make, model, or style of your vehicle. If this is a Mitsubishi, made between the years 1989-1994, you should read this article: http://90gsx.com/eclipse/cap/caps.htm Many strange problems can be contributed to this issue. When just about all your dummy lights come on (especially your seat
belt light), that usually means your ignition system may be faulty.
If you haven't changed your plugs or plug wires in the past 24k-30k
miles, it can't hurt to do it now. But I would guess this is either
an ignition problem, or an ECU problem as indicated in the article
link I provided. |
