I have a rattling sound only when going up hills. When accelerating, I lose speed drastically - never happened before.
What could this be?

The RVR was not a model sold in the United States, so I'm not too familiar with it. Your problem is probably a maintenance item such as a timing belt or ignition component. You should consider getting a tune-up and have your timing belt replaced if it's been more than 100,000 kilometes since your last timing belt change.
