Good morning. |
| Answer: | Yvan, Unfortunately, there probably is not much you can do. SUVs are built in the assumption that they will be driven on paved roads. Even though it's an AWD vehicle, that's actually far different from a 4x4 (4WD). Without getting into the technical side, a vehicle with 4WD (like a truck) is built for off-road and has a stiffer suspension. But AWD vehicles are meant for mostly for traction and corning on paved roads. Also, being that it's a 2004 model, there are no aftermarket parts available
for it (or at least none tested for it) to improve it's suspension. You
can bring your car to the dealership and ask them to check the suspension
to see if there are many damaged spring or struts. If you do have a weak
or blown strut, you will have a jittery and harsh ride. |
