| Question: | this is sons car just
stop running while driving home.towed to repair center, they had car for 7 days unable to fix.they swapped out dist.and computer and what ever else they could think of still not running. |
| Answer: | Bob, I've had that happen to me. Lots of things can make your car die while driving, but my problem was my fuel pump and fuel pump assembly. When my fuel pump died, it blow the ignition fuse. And when that fuse blows, nothing will start. You could also have a clogged air intake hose. If a mechanic had the car for 7 days and was unable to fix it, they definately don't know what they're doing. Take the car to a qualified technician (the dealership if all else fails), and they should have it diagnosed correctly within a couple hours. Good luck! |
