Hi, thank you for answering my question. when I first try to start
my car in the morning, there is a clicking noise, then nothing. when i
keep turning the key, maybe 3-6 times, it suddenly starts. then it is
ok the rest of the day. I guess I may have an electrical problem. where
should I look and what should I do?
Sincerely,
Mike

Mike,
Most likey, you do have an electrical problem. It sounds like the problem
is either in your ignition fuse, main relay, or your starter. The fuse
is very easy to replace, and is inexpensive. If your starter is going
bad, you'll want a mechanic to check it out and replace it if necessary.
A start can run you about $100-$200 for a rebuilt one depending the model
of car you have. It can be labor intensive as well. If your starter needs
to be replaced, don't be surprised if the total cost comes to $300-$400.
Have the car checked thoroughly, but your problem sounds pretty common
especially if you have an older car.
Good luck!
