Subject: wish to ask about Air Flow problem
Question:

my mirage (year 1994) suspected to be air flow problem (the thing that after air filter)
as when i start my engine, i press FULL PEDAL but my engine accelerate very slowly, like BackFire Sound (burp burp burp sound), but after that it become better.

if its really air flow problem, could you tell me how to check it and how to repair it ?

Check all the hoses that go from your air filter to your intake manifold. Other areas you should check are your spark plugs, plug wires, distributor, PCV valve, and fuel pump. A problem in any of those items can cause the trouble you are describing.
