I have a 92 Mirage ES. My car has been broken down for a while. I just repaired it only to find out the head gasket is pretty much shot and I am not sure how to replace that. |
| Answer: | Kevin, Replacing the head gasket can be an extremely labor intensive job. Haynes and Chiltons both sell a service manual for your car. I would also recommend getting the factory service manual. You can purchase that from the dealership. The factory service manual can be a little expensive, but if you're able to perform the gasket replacement yourself, you'll save hundreds of dollars. The factory manual will also give important torque specs and adjacent component removal. Good luck! |
