Subject:	Oil seal on control shaft (Lancer GLXi - 92)
Question:	1992 Mitsubishi Lancer GLXi. Do I need to remove the clutch housing in order to change the oil seal on the control shaft?
Answer:	Roy, Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with the older Lancers. I never got a opportunity to play around with one. But if that model of Lancer is anything like the Galant, Eclipse (non-turbo), or Mirage, you should not have to remove the clutch to change the oil seal. Sorry I couldn't be more help. Good luck!
