Subject:	Changing of engine
Question:	I am now driving a Mitsubishi Lancer , 1.5L ,CK2A, semi-auto. I am now planning to change the engine to a Mitsubishi 4G63, Evo 4, CN9A manual. But i prefer using semi-auto. So is it possible for me to use my old transmission on this new 4G63 engine.
Answer:	Jack, This is a swap I haven't heard of anyone attempting before. Many people do switch out Mitsu engines for the 4G63 engine, but typically they use the same tranny as well. I don't have experience with that semi-automatic tranny, but I would guess you'll run into some problems. If you feel you would be able to bring over the manual tranny if the semi-auto one doesn't work, go for it. I would be interested to see if that would work. Good luck!
