Subject:	Lancer GLXi Power Loss while revving
Question:	1996 Mitsubishi Lancer GLXi Car got flooded and reached computer box. The box was replaced and engine ran. However, while revving up, intermittent loss of power is experienced. Not very often but it happens. How would a broken electric fuel pump cause this?
Answer:	Allan, Sorry for the late reply. If the fuel pump is damaged, you can get a sudden and sharp loss of power. Lack of fuel supply to the combustion chambers will not allow the pistons to turn or not make a full cycle. You should have your fuel pressure checked. Good luck!
