okay so i just bought a 2002 lancer and the battery light is on so i got it tested and they said it needed a new alternator so i had a new one put in and the light is still on and i have no idea why. also the car will stall if i push the clutch in or if it is in neutral. it wont start if i have the ac on though and i dont know why it keeps stalling can you help me? |
| Answer: | Joshua, Have the mechanic that installed the new alternator re-check the alternator and load test the battery. Also have the ignition timing checked and even a compression test could help determine the problem. Other components to check are the air filter, fuel filter, and throttle body components.
