| Question: |
Hello. Recently my heater has stopped blowing air. For awhile, it would work on speed 4, and now it has stopped altogether. Sometimes it will work on the 4th speed for a few minutes and then slowly die. Air still gets warm and flows through when driving at high speeds, but otherwise it doesn't work. I am thinking about buying the part and replacing the blower motor myself. Is this overly difficult? Could it be something else? |
| Answer: | Zachary, This does sound like a blower motor problem. It may even be a switch problem if there is a poor connection. But replacing the blower motor is a pretty difficult job. It requires removing a large section of the dashboard and and other surrounding components. Unless this is something you've done before, I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself. Good luck! |
