Question:	I slid off the road into a snow bank last week and activated the airbags. Question. When replacing the airbags, does the module also have to be replaced? Does the system need to be reset? Thanks
Answer:	John, When an airbag deploys, the dealership will always insist on replacing every component dealing with the SRS system; usually around $800-$1000. They do this so the dealersip is not liable if you get into another accident and the airbags to not deploy correctly. In that respect, it is a good idea to have all modules and sensors replaced after your airbag goes off. When a new airbag system is installed, the dealership always needs to reset it, otherwise your SRS light will continuously stay on. Good luck!
