| Question: | Thank you, Anthony.
If I keep driving as it is now, what could happen? Thanks in advance, Richard |
| Answer: | Richard, If you continue to drive the car with a worn CV-joint, eventually, the joint will completely fail. When that happens, you may not get any power to the tire when you turn your steering wheel. That can put excess stress on your wheel bearing, and eventually cause other parts to wear down prematurely. Getting it fixed sooner rather than later will save money in future repairs. Worst case scenario: You have to turn to get over a railroad crossing. If no power is getting to your tire, your car won't move... and then you see a train coming at you.... |
