I need to replace my 1996 V6 Galant four wheel disc brake, I am rather puzzle as to what kind of pads to buy. I want something close to original factory parts with long wearing durability. I am providing a link for your convenient.

The pads I saw in the link you provided were for a 1999 Galant, and you indicated you had a '96 Galant. From Galants I know that were sold in the US, there was not a V6 model Galant sold in 1996. Double check to verify the exact model and year of Galant you have.

You can buy aftermarket brake pads that are near, if not exact, OEM replacements at many commercial auto parts stores. AutoZone, PepBoys, Advanced Auto Parts, and NAPA stores should all have replacement pads for your car. Those stores will even indicate specifically if they sell the exact OEM replacement. It's best to check their web sites, or better yet, visit any or all those stores if you have any near you. You should have no problem finding a replacement.
