to it was perfectly fine and the sensors you talked about i have already
replaced... what it does now i can get it to start and it will idol
at 1,100 RPM's where it always use to normaly idol at and it will sit
there for about 10 secons staying a good steady idol but then it starts
to kill itself and gives a spiratic idol and dies...even when the car
is idoling that good when i go to touch the gas the engine will backfire
and kill its self... i can brealy touch the gas without it killing
it...if i jently tap the gas and get it to a rev it will do it i just
can push on it very much.... still stranded and dont know what to do

| Answer: | Aaron, An idle of 1100 RPMs is too high. Normal idle for your engine once it gets to normal operating temperature should be about 750 PRMs. As I mentioned before, you throttle body and intake manifold should be cleaned. That also included replacing your PCV valve. You should also have your ECU inspected. If your ECU is malfunctioning, it may interpret that all your sensors are bad; even though they are fine. Check over the last list of items I sent you. You're bound to find your problem. Good luck! |
