| Answer: | John, I can guarantee that the ECU you bought was remanufactured. Even a Mitsubishi dealership will first try to sell you a remanufactured computer. Unless you spend over $1000, you have a remanufactured unit. I still believe you have a problem either with your ECU, or its a problem that your computer will detect if you are able to hook it up to a code reader. If you have an AutoZone in your area, most provide code reads for free. The California models have addition emmissions components (EGR valve and solenoid) which can cause strange problems. A working ECU will tell you this. If you determine it is your ECU that is still the problem, get another
