I have a 99 Eclipse RS automatic and whenever I start my car for a couple seconds theres a loud high pitch noise that comes from the engine. If you could help me out i would greatly appreciate it the noise is really pissing me off. |
| Answer: | Jerry, The noise you hear is probably a worn drive belt that needs to be replaced. Have your belts checked and replaced if necessary. IF the belts are fine, this may be a problem with the starter motor. Have that inspected as well when you have your belts checked. Good luck! |
