| Subject: | a/c freon leak |
| Question: |
my a/c air doesn't come in cold, and i just got a recharge of freon, so i'm guessin it's a leak. I just wanna know where i should take to fix the problem for cheapest price. I have a 2000 eclipse GT, 6 cylinder, manual |
| Answer: | Jack, I couldn't really tell you who would charge you the lowest price to fix the leak. Since the A/C system is under such high pressures, that they would not patch any existing components, they would have to replace components. The dealership would probably charge your the most to fix the leak. But
you can call around to other local mechanic for labor cost estimates.
But other than the dealership, I would say most mechanics would all cost
roughly the same for replacing the same components and performing the
same labor. |
