1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spider Convertible, 2.4, manual. Took to body shop to repair passenger door from accident. They first replaced with a used door from non-convertible spider ... now, the window does not work properly. Just ordered a used 1996 Spider Convertible door, hoping this will solve the problem. Is the 1996 and 1997 door alike? My son does not believe it will fit properly either. Where could we find a new door to replace the one damaged? |

It's a completely different door and has different part numbers from Mitsubishi. You can be assured that a door from a 1996 convertible Eclipse will fit
on your 1997 convertible Eclipse. Mitsubishi used the same door on both
years of convertible Eclipse. |
