Subject: Ignition problems

1992 Eclipse
The car died today, we towed it home and it has no spark. Oil full, radiator full, fuses good, power thru ignition fuse, cap and rotor appear in good conditon. Is there a common problem with these cars? What are some things to check first?

You should check your ECU first. It's easy enough to pull it and visually inspect the circuit board. You should also be sure your spark plugs and plug wires are in good shape.
