i just got an 95 eclipse about 6 mounts ago and everything seems to be alright until i had replaced my water pump now when ever you start the car the car wont idle high enough to stay crunk it will just shut off should i cange my iac or what should i do |
| Answer: | Dante, I would guess your timing is off. Since you had to remove your timing belt to replace your water pump, there's a strong chance the timing belt was installed a few degrees off, or may have slipped a few teeth on the spocket if the tension was not set properly. This will cause the car to start rough and usually stall out; if it starts at all. Have the timing checked and you may find the problem there. Good luck! |
