Question: I OWN A 2000 ECLIPSE 4 CYLINDER AUTOMATIC.MY RADIO STOPPED WORKING A FEW DAYS A AGO AND I AM CURIOUS IF IT COULD BE THE FUSE.I BOUGHT THE CAR USED SO I DO NOT HAVE A MANUAL. CAN YOU TELL ME WHERE THE FUSE BOX IS AND WHAT FUSE IS FOR THE RADIO .THANKYOU
Answer: Jake,
The 2000 Eclipses are so new, I haven't got a chance to really explore one all that well. I would guess that the fuse that controls the radio is either by your hood lease lever on the driver side, or under the hood next to the battery. There may not be a specific fuse that says "Radio", so you may just have to examine the fuses that are in there to see if any have blown. If replacing your fuse doesn't help, you may need to replace the radio itself. If your car still has any warranty left on it, have a dealership mechanic check it out.
Good luck!
