| Question: |
1994 Mitsubishi Eclipse 2.0L GS Transmission starts to slip when the car gets warm. Supposedly the transmission was replaced already. Is there something else this could be, sensor etc....? Jeff Gray |
| Answer: | Jeff, If you have an automatic transmission, the most probable cause for this problem is a malfunction of the torque converter. The line pressure may be too low as well; due to a damaged seal or leakage. If you have a manual transmission, you probably have a worn out clutch
pressure plate. You would need to have a new clutch assembly installed. |
