might be? Thank You,Mike Breadmont P.S. If I open and close my door enough times it usally retracts on driver side but not passenger side. Passenger side retracts once every month or so. |
| Answer: | Mike, It sounds like maybe you have an electrical problem with your passive restraint seat belts. You may have a poor connection, which is causing your seat belts to not recognize when the door is open. This may be caused by some of the poor rubber weatherstripping Mitsu put in some of their early '90s vehicles. Another possible problem could be due to your car's computer. Take a look at this article for further detail: http://90gsx.com/eclipse/cap/caps.htm Most mechanics garages can do a simple electrical check to see if
your seat belt control module has good electrical contact. You can
also have them check your ECU if you feel you are experiencing other
strange problems. |
