A week ago a mechanic went to my home and replace water pump and new timing belts. The problem is its making noise on the area where he fixed it and i can't adjust the timing? The rpm is little bit higher. What do you think the problem? |
| Answer: | Nester, To replace the timing belt, your mechanic most likely had to remove the other drive belts as well. If he had overtightened any of those drive belts, they can make a whining noise. A change in the rpms shouldn't be a problem, but you may want to have your mechanic inspect the belt tension and timing once again. Good luck! |
