| Subject: | headlights not working |
| Question: | I have a 1994 Mistubishi Expo. My headlight stopped working along with the dash light and tailights. Is there a simple fuse to change? What should I look for to find the problem? |
| Answer: | Kathleen, You may have a problem with the switch you use to turn you lights on. That switch not only controls your headlights, but it also controls your dashboards lights and tail lights. I'm not too familiar with the Expo, but I'm pretty sure the headlamp fuse is is different from the dashboard lights. The headlight fuse would be in the fuse box under your hood, while you dashlights are typically controlled by a fuse under your dashboard. Any local garage mechanic can check for a burned out fuse. If they determine that all your fuses and electrical components are operating normal, there is another thing you can inspect. You can read the following web page as a reference: http://90gsx.com/eclipse/cap/caps.htm This problem is becoming more and more common as those models of Mitsubishis get older and older. Good luck! |
