| Question: | I have a 1997 2.0L
automatic and Ineed some help locating the bolt that ataches the caliper
assembly to the disc and it seems like every where I turn I get little
help. |
| Answer: | Julio, It's difficult to describe the bolt position since you did not provide a make and/or model of the car. Plus, you did not indicate whether you are referring to the front or the rear calipers. If you are referring to the front calipers for an Eclipse, then
there are essentially two bolts that hold the caliper on; the guide
pin (located on the bottom of the caliper) and the lock pin (located
on the top of the caliper). The bolts are attached from the inside
out, so you'll need to reach around the rotor to be able to access
them. |
