Subject:	my defrost does not work
Question:	i'm sorry, but my car is not a mitsubishi, but i cannot figure out why my defrost,heat,a/c,vent,and the hi/lo does not work.my car is a 1987 honda civic hatchback, manual transmition. i ahve checked the fuses and they are all working. i am sure that they cannot be that much different from a mitsubishi. if you had the same problems with your car or know anyone who would know anything about it, i would appreciate your help very much. thank you adam morrow
Answer:	Adam, Both the hot air from the heater core and the cold air from the A/C are blown into your via the blower motor. If that motor is not working, than you will not feel the air blowing out. If the defroster you are referring to is for the one on the back window, that is simple controlled by a switch on your dash, a fuse/relay, and a connection on the rear window. It's possible that there is a short circuit somewhere behind your dash that's preventing all those climate control device to not function. You should have your dashboard covering removed and have the wiring checked out. That is your best bet. Good luck!
