| Question: | 93 eclipse turbo lost hella power idle fell down to 600 [adjusting it didnt help] its weak off the line and cant burn rubber plugs,points,filters are all shiny &new so what do you think sensor? fuel pressure/injector?please help thank you for your time. also head gasket has been prev repaired |
| Answer: | Max, Have your timing belt, balance belt, and tensioners all replaced if you haven't done it in the past 40K miles or so. If your timing is off a bit, you will loose power. Also, you may need to have your knock sensor replaced. If your knock sensor is telling your car's computer that there is excess knock, your timing will be severaly retarded, and your power output diminished.
