| Question: | hi i have a 1993 eclipse
gsx manual i hear a noise like if somebody is hiting it from under
the car. it happens when i let go the cluth. what is the problem? |
| Answer: | Dino, Because the drivetrain of the all-wheel drive Eclipses are so complex, it's hard to pin-point. Your problem may be your throwout bearing, pressure plate, or clutch release cylinder. It is possible that you just have an air bubble in your clutch line. The best thing to do is have your transmission inspected by a qualified
transmission shop. Ask around for a transmission shop that is comfortable
on working on Japanese cars. The Eclipse GSX is one of the toughest
cars to work on, so be sure you get it done right. If you can't find
a transmission shop you feel comfortable with, take your car to the
dealership. They will be able diagnose and fix your problem. |
