| Question: | anthony, i have to

the car has auto door locks as well as auto windows. can a guy do this replacement, that is to say, is there much invlovled? I would rather not hire someone to do it. I have replaced the the window seals (rubber guides ) on this car already so know how to get into the door itself. thanks, jim in alaska |
| Answer: | Jim, As long as you have a couple screwdrivers and ratchet with 6" extention bar and a 12mm socket, you should not have a problem. The window motor is pretty easy to get to and it shouldn't take you too long. Just be careful not to scratch the glass when removing it from the door. I usually put a rag or old T-shirt betwen the glass and door frame when I've removed windows. Good luck! |
