Subject:	oil pump prime
Question:	92 talon with 2.0l dohc mitsubishi motor non-turbo Loss oil pressure. How do I get the oil pump to prime and get oil to the top of the motor. Lost oil pressure after replacing warped head good compression and fire just no oil.
Answer:	John, The best way I've learned to prime the oil pump is to first remove the MPI fuse. It should be located on the positive battery terminal cable (it's black, I believe). Then crank the engine 3-4 times for about 3 seconds, with 10 seconds pause in between cranks (so you don't burn out your starter). That should do it. Good luck!
