Subject: Need help on a problem before I spend to much money
Question: I have a 1994 3000GT 2WD and I have it at a shop and the mechanic tells me that he can't get a reading from the computer of what the problem is. It's not firing. so what do you do if the computer don't give a reading?

If your mechanic cannot get a reading from the computer, that doesn't necessarily mean that he cannot diagnose your problem. If your mechanic is experienced enough, he should be able to use some old fashion methods using a simple voltmeter to determine where the problem is coming from.
It might take him a little longer, but the problem definitely can be found. I know the 3000GT is quite a complex looking vehicle, and if your mechanic does not feel confident using "old fashion" methods to diagnosing your car, consider taking your car to a qualified Mitsubishi mechanic at the dealership. You might just save money in the long run.
