i have a 1994 3000gt with a factory stereo. I was wanting to put a new head unit in my car. I was wondering if the anti theft codes in my original stereo would affect the replacement and if I would have to program my new head unit to "accept" the anti theft codes |
| Answer: | Matt, The factory radio is the only radio that needs to have the security code set. If you install an aftermarket head unit in its place, you won't have to worry about setting any security codes. Good luck! |
