Hi well just offering a little tip as I had just gone through transmission running in limp mode in 1992 stealth..and read a past post ....the electrical connector for the pulse generators on the transmission there are 2 if they mix these up and quite often it happens after a rebuild you will get a 3 rd gear start and also the rectangular connection for the valve body solenoids is the same as the generators on the trans and this was plugged in wrong so the car was running in limp mode so just check or try changing this got the information of off of all data it was posted as a tech.service bulletin
