Hi Anthony, Firstly let me thank you for all your help and advice so far. I have a 3000GT. The front black strip on the front bumber and the grey on the hatch paint have faded due to UV. What would be the best way to regain the finish? I look forward to your reply. Regards, |
| Answer: | Tony, If that black strip on the front is rubber, you can use some black shoe polish to restore its color. If it's hard plastic, you may be able to get away with use touch-up paint. For the faded rear hatch, there's not much you can do other than getting
it repainted. You could try to use a color-matching car polish, but that
may only be a temporary solution. It's much cheaper than a full paint
job; which could run you any where from $800-$1500. |
